Crazy Night, Crazy Company

Went for night cycling last night with the same old usual scouts and it was absolutely the best one I ever had. I was kinda pissed at first, for having to wait for the rest of them for almost one hour but as soon as I saw them, the anger faded. We embarked on our journey at about 10pm, starting from East Coast Park then through the park connector to Marina Bay followed by Clarke Quay and crazy road expeditions to Kallang before heading back to East Coast at about 5.30am. The route was kind of free and easy, unlike the previous I went for. Though the company wasn't as large as the previous one and the route was much simpler and short, to me, this night cycling was way better and way more enjoyable than before. I was kind of fascinated while cycling because I wasn't expecting much people on a Tuesday night. Despite having to work the next day, there were still many people around Marina Bay and Clarke Quay, chilling after work. For me, I thought 12am would be kind of late ...

16

I've been 16 for a week now and obviously everything is still the same except for the number is written beside my age and the fact that I can watch NC16 movies now. Last week, I had a party for my birthday and I'm really thankful to those who made a trip down to celebrate that special day with me. To those who didn't it's okay because you all still remembered to wish me and send me cards, big thanks! Before the party, I was pretty worried about how thing's wouldn't go according to plan and all but luckily everything was going well and overall the party was a big success! My friends actually surprised me and I'm really grateful, some decorated the wall with our favourite memories and some sang a song for me. Overall I was really touched by their efforts and, of course, thankful. Big shout out to the friends who planned and of course to my parents who helped me arrange so many things! Thank you, everyone, for showering me with lots of love and well wis...

8th ASEAN Para Games 2015

At first, when I signed up to be a volunteer for the Para Games, I was skeptical about what the website had promised. Hence, I went for the training and the first day of volunteering without expecting much. When I went to my designated venue, I was kind of nervous because I'm afraid I would unintentionally offend the athletes due to our physical differences. I braced myself as athletes started to fill up the venue. My first impression on them had got to be, friendly. Despite the nervousness they had due to their upcoming competition, they still smiled and treat us, volunteers with respect rather than to take us for granted and treat us like their personal maids. I remembered how nervous I was when I had to come in contact with an athlete who has half an arm. He asked for two bottles of water and held out that half ar...
