Choices
It's been really long since I've had a heart to heart talk with someone. It feels really great when people do listen to you, heed your advices but what's more satisfying is that when you are able to talk some sense into the other person.
So anyway, you can't expect much from us in this heart to heart talk, we are just a bunch of kids. Obviously, we dream really really BIG and talk really really BIG. People might feel that it's just gonna be a waste of time if we actually try to pursue our BIG dream, so most of the time people just bring us down and crash our dreams like how they crash ants. Yes, people did crash my dreams before but I'm thankful that they did. They actually talked some sense into me that made me felt that my dream was really stupid. All along, my dream was just a 'want' and never a 'must' nor 'need'.
My dream was to become and idol. There's nothing bad about being an idol, but the thing is that in order to become an idol, there are like a lot of sacrifices to be made and risks to be taken. Quality time with your love ones will be taken away and you have to take a gamble on whether you will become rich and famous after debuting because no one can actually guarantee you that.
When I was talking with my friend, I just felt like there was a need to lend her a helping hand to pull her out from her 'pool of decisions'. I can see that she's struggling whether to carry on persuing her dreams or just give up now. I mean as a friend most people will tell her to carry on. For me, I didn't. As a friend, yes I do want the best for her, but I don't want to see her suffering just to become a star. Those diets and intense work-outs, it's not worth it. If she is really fated to be an idol, she will eventually become one when the opportunity comes. Right now, I hope that she will work hard in her studies though both of us knows that studying sucks. I'm sure she won't want to look back and regret for not studying hard also right?
