Korea Trip 2014 Part IV
Finally here for Day 3! Before I start on day 3, I just wanna talk about Lotte World once again, so after I came back from Korea, my cousin told me that we didn't get to the outdoor portion of Lotte World so that's probably why we found it boring. Hence, in order to make up for Lotte World, I went to their website to know more about them. Basically, they have three main attractions, Lotte World Adventure, Lotte Waterpark and Lotte World Aquarium. For me, I only went to Lotte World Adventure and only the indoor portion of Lotte World to be exact. If any of you reading this, is interested for Lotte World reviews, then I believe my opinions about it won't be as good as others but if you do need any information about Lotte World, I have already added the link at the bottom of this post, so please do go and check it out. As for others, as usual, do tell me how you find Lotte World is after visiting!
Anyway, I'm finally updating Day 3! Here we are already in 2015 and I'm actually still blogging about my holidays in 2014, don't worry though, these Korea Trip posts are not typed out based on memory because on the trip itself I've already made a draft for each day. Right now, I'm just reviewing all the drafts and doing necessary amendments.
Day 3, here we go!
For Day 3, we woke up early and took the KTX trail to BUSAN!
After lunch, we decided to tour around Busan! Luckily for us, on our way to the hotel from the KTX station, we met this really friendly taxi driver who offered to take us on a tour around Busan. Thus, after our lunch we made an appointment with him again to take us around Busan.
If you are thinking Jijimbang is a really nice and cool place to chill, you are right, but then please brace yourselves when you enter the changing room. Why? Because when you step in, everyone is basically naked. Yes, N.A.K.E.D. They are all so open with one another, you just see everything of everyone. It's part of their culture already, so it's not really a big deal to them, but for people like me, who isn't used to it AT ALL, will get the shock of their lives. Erm, other than this, it's basically the same experience you'll see in K-dramas. The entrance fee, isn't that expensive I guess? It ranges from about 8000 won to 15000 won, depending on your age and when you enter the Jijimbang. Anyway the facilities there, are great! The place is clean and the space is really huge so you won't really feel like everyone around you is watching you or something, they basically just do their own things around there. When you first enter, you will be needed to change into their provided clothing and you'll have to put your own clothes in a given locker. Both genders are split when it comes to changing rooms, so don't worry but after you leave your changing room, both genders will be able to meet again and enjoy the facilities. I actually took a video as a tour for you guys secretly, cause I wasn't sure if cameras were allowed in there, but the file was too big, so I wasn't able to show it to you guys :( However if you guys are really interested in going to Spaland, I would really recommend it, it's definitely a experience that everyone MUST have when they visit Korea. If you guys want anymore information, just feel free to ask for it! I'll always be happy to help you out if you have any queries.
Third day is so long, and luckily we are finally ending. So last place, DINNER!!!
It's really nice of him to bring us around Busan after dinner! I swear this bridge looks so much nicer when you are there in person, the colours here don't do justice to this bridge at all. Just saying!

Day 3, here we go!
For Day 3, we woke up early and took the KTX trail to BUSAN!
Overall, the KTX experience was a pretty good one. Sadly, there aren't any pictures because for both rides to and fro on the KTX I fell asleep, but I must say if you take the KTX during the winter season like me, the scenery is super good. Especially when it is snowing. Definitely, one you can NEVER EVER see in Singapore. It's just super amazing and I'm really regretting it now for sleeping most of the time and being too in awe that I forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry guys.
Now, may I present you, the streets of BUSAN!!!!
When I reached Busan, the feeling was totally different from Seoul. I'm not sure whether it was just me who felt this way or what. In Busan, I feel more welcome cause basically the people there are just super duper friendly and they are always smiling at you. When you are in Seoul, it's just different, it's like in Singapore. Everyone is just busy with their lives and none bothers about you.
Back on track, when I arrived in Busan, it was already around lunch time so we headed down the streets to look for food. In the end, we opt for a chinese restaurant! Most of you might be thinking like, why would you eat chinese food when you are in Korea? Like you can eat chinese food anywhere in Singapore! Guys, the chinese restaurant there has jajangmyeon! It's like a must-try also when you are in Korea!!!!
| We were too hungry for photos. |
The first place we went to was the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. It's not like any other temples I've been to before, because this temple is right beside the sea.
| This is where I got my 1000 won hodeok. It's super good!!! |
Next stop, Jijimbang!
Third day is so long, and luckily we are finally ending. So last place, DINNER!!!
Basically for the dinner, the taxi driver took us to his wife's restaurant. Erm, I'm not sure whether that's the address for his wife's restaurant on the name card and I'm not really sure of the price of this meal. So, if you really want a good grill meat place, I think anywhere would be fine, since it's definitely authentic, like come on you are in Korea already, how fake would it be right? Overall, I would just want to say that this dinner here, was the best. I believe the pictures already show how much I have enjoyed.
So yeah! Here concludes my day 3 in Korea! If you wanna know more about the other days, just stay tuned (though I can't really tell when I will update again)!
See you all soon! :)
