Campfire 2015

It's the end of the March holidays, and I'm already starting my Term 2 yet my fanfiction and Korea blog post are still incomplete. What to do, what to do? There's just too much work to be done, and I'm constantly tired, so I'm really really really sorry to people who are still currently waiting for either one of those updates.

Moving on!

The March Holidays are officially over, so I'm here to share my hectic schedule with you all. Firstly, I started March Holidays with our annual jobweek! Jobweek is held during the March holidays, whereby you have the whole week to go around, knocking on other people's door to ask for jobs or perhaps donation. The whole purpose of this, is to let the younger generation understand the hardships of earning money, so that they will not take things for granted. Jobweek definitely isn't fun if you want my honest opinion, I'm dead beat everyday when I went home after it. Luckily only 2 days were made compulsory for me.

Next up, during the first few weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I had to return to school, for extra lessons as well as to settle some pre-camp stuff. I'm pretty sure none of you will be interested in this point so I'm going to move on.

Last event for March Holidays!

CAMPFIRE!

It's my last year in scouts, and I'm really glad we managed to hold a campfire. What's scouts without campfire? Basically, campfire camp was hectic I guess? Everyone was so stressed out about everything. First was the structure, then the performances followed by wondering how will the whole show turn out. OH OH OH OH! On the side note, Rick Sir came back for the campfire with his family! HEEHEE.

Proud to announce to you all, I was the emcee for the campfire. WOOHOO! I guess this sort of completed part of bucketlist? To actually perform on stage under my name. I know emcee-ing isn't really sort of performing but it still sort of completed my bucketlist since people get to know who I am and I was able to be on stage, grab the microphone and lead the crowd. [Gonna update the bucketlist post again HEEHEE]

Basically, for the campfire, I was shaking at first. It was so obvious. I was on my way to introduce the schools that attended the campfire and I saw how my paper was shaking. In my heart I was just like "Stop shaking." Then I continued the show with multiple mistakes, like pronouncing the school's name wrongly, calling out the wrong school, having the audience to say cheers for me because I forgot the lyrics and even forgetting how to end some of it. There's just too much mistakes, it's unacceptable!

However, what really warms my heart, was how the audience tried to make me feel better by helping me along the way. Giving me responses and like I mentioned earlier, helping me to complete the cheers and songs that I forgot how to sing. Thank you scouts!

Lastly, as the campfire came to an end, we had a surprise from our teachers-in-charge. They made a video for all of us which left quite a number of us in tears. Last of the last, even before the annual: after-campfire-pizza-treat, the teachers played my slideshow to the sec 4 scouts, which I was so embarrassed about that I left the hall. Luckily my surprise was kind of like a success because I made people who hardly cry, either cried or teared. /Inserts smirk face x100/

As I end this section about campfire, I'm just gonna leave a message for the sec 4 scouts once again.

Yoooooo!
I've already said most of the things I want to tell you all through the slides, there's probably more though, but I guess it will come out naturally from me when the time is right. Anyway, really really want to thank you guys again for being such a supportive bunch and working hard to make this campfire a HUGE success! Last 2 trainings and we will officially step down. I believe this will never be the end of us, love you all!
Totally missing Korea and her wonderful winter :( When will I get to visit Korea again?!

Before I go, just want to say that, I'll really really try my best to do what I'm suppose to do. Like updating my fanfic and of course, finish up my Korea blogpost! Just three more chaps for my fic, and 2-3 more parts for my Korea blogpost! Gotta hang in there, and get it over and done with! To others who are struggling with whatever they have now, let's hang in there together!
