Korea Trip 2014 Part VII
Day 6!
This day is pretty short because we only did one thing, quite wasted I know but I have to blame it on the harsh weather!
We woke up early and headed to apgujeong, where most of the entertainment companies are located! We were a bit lost at first but after confirming our directions we were probably on the right track. My doubts were kicked away when I saw that darn huge Holler, Taetiseo poster!
By right, as a tourist I should be more curious and want to find out more about the SM building, but I'm just too shy so after I took this picture without even exploring more, I just headed off to CUBE café, zzzzzzz. I didn't even bother to find that SM building logo :-(
Whatever it is, with regrets, I headed to the CUBE café!!!!
On my way, I saw JYP entertainment too! It doesn't look fancy at all, plus if you didn't take special notice of the building, you probably would just walk past it without knowing it is the JYP company. CUBE café is pretty near JYP entertainment, so very quickly we found the café, and we were the first customers, yeah!!
If you can't tell through the pictures, I had a lot of fun in the café and both the food and staff there are great! :) Sadly, maybe because it's too early, I did not get to see any CUBE artistes, including B2ST :-(
Day 7:
Last day to tour around Korea but we did something more meaningful, like visiting the Korea borders!
After this tour, I definitely learnt a lot more about the Korea borders, and it definitely helped me in my studies since I'm a History student. The pictures I've taken is only for the first half of my tour, the DMZ tour. For the second part of the tour, which is the JSA tour, is kind of strict with photo taking so I didn't take any pictures at all. For the DSA tour, you only get to visit the South Korea borders, not the real exact border between the north and south. However if you are interested to visit the real one, sort of, do go for the JSA tour! It brings you deeper into the borders where you are really like just one step away from North Korea. When you go there you can actually feel the tension and all, pretty scary but overall the experience was great! Just a funny story for you all, I actually fell when we were on our way into the actual border that the North and South share. It was so embarrassing and I was just red faced throughout.
Yep, so I'm finally done with my Korea trip series blog post! I must say I had lots and lots of fun during my trip in Korea and if given the chance I would definitely visit it again but hopefully another season!
I'll be visiting Batam at the end of this month, but do not worry because I promised that I won't be doing anymore "I-went-overseas-series" blogpost, because firstly, I take too long to finish the whole series and secondly, I suck at it. So I'll probably just take a lot of pictures and then show them to you all, briefly describe the place and all, and that's about it! :-)
Hopefully, my Korea Trip series blog post was helpful to people who are planning to go Korea, though I don't think it is very helpful. Thank you all for supporting my Korea Trip series blog post, and don't even anticipate for another series! Bye! :)
